Catch all the Action on the BBC
The two weeks of the Olympics are crammed full of cross country racing, catch our British Nordic athletes compete on the BBC or online via Facebook, Twitter and Youtube.
The BBC are covering the Winter Olympics and will cover a range of sports, including cross country skiing. It will be available on the red button and iPlayer. Sochi time is 4 hours ahead of GMT and as most of our events start in the afternoon, timing for TV coverage in UK is a very civilized 10am for most of the events. For those outside the UK with limited access to BBC coverage, then we will try and capture the relevant streams and publish when we can.
For immediate race news, results and updates will be shown on the British Nordic Facebook page and Twitter feed, but if you want to plan your race viewing now, here is a resume of the times to set aside for nail biting and cheering of TeamGB Cross Country (athlete participation may be subject to change dependent on coaching decisions).
Opening Ceremony is on Friday 7th February evening
NOTE: not all the British Nordic athletes may be present due to distance of the Sochi stadium from the skiing area accommodation – late nights don’t mix well with racing.
