An exciting opportunity has arisen for a candidate to step into the role of PATHWAY COACH with British Nordic and working in conjunction with Sport Scotland Institute of Sport.  This vacancy is as a result of the previous pathway coach stepping up to a higher level of performance coaching within GB Cross Country Skiing.

 

British Nordic exists to provide a performance pathway for GB cross country skiers from club level to reach the standard for selection for European Youth Olympics and World Junior Championships, and to progress further to international senior competition.  Since its inception in 2001, the squad has run a vibrant and successful programme with around 25 athletes progressing to compete at European Youth Olympic and World Junior levels, six of whom have progressed to become Olympians.
