A huge thank you to the London Region Nordic Ski Club who have boosted the British Nordic Team funds to the tune of £1,000 to help fund our training programme for Sochi.

 

At a recent annual dinner, held on the South Bank, London, the Club raised an amazing £500, on the night, in aid of the British Nordic Ski Team’s Sochi 2014 appeal.  All thanks to the kind generosity of many of the Club members. 

 

The Committee decided to match this amount with Club funds taking the total donation to £1,000 to the Team.

 

The Club has passed on it's best wishes to the Team and to every success in our training and racing competitions up to, at and beyond the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi 2014 - Many thanks.

 

One of the prizes on the night in the raffle was a British Nordic Team jacket which was won by Peter Walling from Norfolk.
